The course has been designed to introduce fundamental principles of numbering systems, Boolean algebra and then analysis and realization of the logic circuits.
Arithmetic operations using binary numbers, Boolean Algebra, realizing Boolean functions with logic Gates, combinational logic circuits, sequential circuit design and counters/registers are described in detail. |

To be able to analyze and design of combinational and sequential logic circuits thorough understanding of binary numbers nature and boolean algebra properties.
