General Advice:
- Every question you have about the subject should be asked, and I will be happy to try to answer it.
- Don’t let your questions sit around gathering dust, because later portions of the course will make use of what came earlier. The longer you wait, the harder it is to catch up.
- You learn the subject by solving problems. No one is able to learn mathematics without working problems.
- You should learn to write problem solutions in a step-by-step manner with explanatory sentences. Problem solutions are not a series of unrelated formulas or equations.
- You should expect to spend 6-9 hours a week working problems, reading the text, and going over your class notes.
- One of the most important goals of this course is to educate you on logical thinking.
General Announcment:
- If you have any questions about the course, you can contact me by sending an e-mail to ayener@ticaret.edu.tr.
- There will be no midterm exam. In line with the decision of the university senate, the course evaluation will be based upon a homework and a final examination with weights of %20 and %80, respectively. Your homework will be given from the distance education system as soon as possible.
- Distance learning weekly lecture notes and lecture videos will be shared on the following link: Please Click
- Homework questions that will replace the midterm exam have been announced. You should do your solutions step by step and write legibly then upload them to the Blackboard System as a pdf file. The deadline for assignments is set at 23:59 on Thursday, 7 May, and the Blackboard System will not accept any papers submitted after this date. I wish you convenience now.
